Four Gables B&B
The experience at Four Gables maybe the highlight of your get-away vacation! Repeat guests tell their friends and relatives about this unique Bed & Breakfast which is a great networking system. The Jorgensens strive to treat their guests like family without interfering with their privacy. Of course, a delicious gourmet breakfast and special turndown at night help to make saatisfaction of their visit even more enhancing to the experience. This unique 1906 Queen Anne was built and owned by the Munstock family until the Jorgensens purchased it in 1982. The home had deteriorated to such a state that it was thought it would be razed. The Jorgensens, however, saw great potential in the well-built brick structure and decided to restore it to it's original glory to live in and raise their family. It was definitly a labor of love. When the "children left home", a bed and breakfast was born. In the chill of Wisconsin winters, down blanketds and hot chocolate will warm and rejuvenate your body. Spring, the season of awakening, brings tulips and daffodils to view. Summer will be cool and refreshing inside and on the grounds a stroll through the flower gardens can provide scents of allysum and roses. Fall brings crimson, gold and yellow leaves on the bluffs and along the Mississippi which are a must see and then return to Four Gables for hot cider to enhance the experience. Mr. Jorgensen, (Jerry), is retired Military and the airlines as a pilot. His passion is old vehicles and he keeps busy with several hobbies which include keeping up with repairs in a "old" home to always make it look at it's best. Nancy's passion, (Jerry's wife), is cooking, decorating, painting, gardening, crafts, collecting antiques to name a few. This bed and breakfast is aartfully decorated and furnished with antiques to make a romantic atmosphere to welcome guests which soon will feel like family.
